Just a few years ago, I was working as an accountant, preparing the financial information for my clients.  While I loved my career as an accountant, I knew the moment I looked into my newborn daughter’s eyes, I was going to be a stay-at-home Mom.  I decided to put my career on hold and focused on my family.

 

When my second daughter joined us just a short 17 months later, I knew I had made the right decision.  Managing two little girls so close in age was challenging but I loved every moment of it. We’d joined a Mom’s group, so the girls had lots of little friends to play with, and I had grown up conservations with the Moms!  The years seemed to fly by and soon they were in kindergarten.  At this time, I had decided to open a part-time accounting business and maintained a few clients. When the girls started high school, I decided it was time for me to open a full-time accounting business.

With the help of a marketing coach, my business took off and soon I had a successful business.  While I was attending some networking events, I kept hearing about Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and I was curious about it and how it affected our thoughts and behaviour.  In September of 2017, I attended my first NLP course and fell in love with the teachings of how our thoughts leads to our behaviour which leads to our actions and is reflected in our results. I went on to take the Master NLP Practitioner course and at the end of this program, I made a life changing decision that I wanted to share this information with other people who were ready to hear and receive it.

I made the exciting and nerve-wracking decision to take my current business to the next level and become a Financial Straegist. With my certifications as an Accountant and Master NLP practitioner, I started to work first on my own mindset and the results were amazing!  I had many breakthroughs, especially with money and now I am in a lovely space where I am more intentional with the inflow and outflow of my cash.
